With the arrival of a new grandbaby, Emery Paige Dilley, (she was actually due Christmas Eve) we had planned Christmas week in Provo with Brian & Carly. She was a bit early, but hard as it was to wait, we stuck to the original travel plan. We loaded up the Burb to the brim with all of Santa's goodies, hooked it up to the motorhome and headed south.... chuckling all the way about towing "Santa's Sleigh" to Utah. We were blessed with good roads all the way and it was worth the anticipation.
It's a tradition in Carly's family to go Skiing /Snow Boarding on Christmas Eve Day. So, joining in with all the Ludwig boys, Brian treated Steve to his first Utah Ski day. It had been several years since the skiis had been dusted off and tuned up... haha. The guys had a ball, and inspite of the time lapsed, the boys said Steve zipped up and didn't miss a beat coming down! It was a crispy cold, beautiful day. Carly and I enjoyed the warm indoors of home, baked a few goodies, vegged out, and I played & cuddled with our cute little grand daughters - Avie loves "Do as I'm doing"! So cute, flat wore me out!
...And later that night Mrs. Claus gave Santa a much appreciated message! haha!
