Wow What A Trip!!

Wondering where we've been?  Well... partly recovering!!  We had an awesome adventure - three weeks in Europe.  Meeting up with my sister Karel and her hubby - Rod, in Salt Lake City, we continued on flying to Barcelona, Spain, where we spent 2 days (we arrived, our luggage didn't! This a story in it's self!).  A bit jet lagged but managed to see a few sites there.  Then we boarded a cruise ship, Celebrity's Summit.  Our luggage never made it to the hotel... a bit frantic, we had to continue on, so we went to the ship and a miracle!!!  It was waiting for us there, no thanks to Delta!   We then spent 14 nights in the eastern Mediterranean, port jumping.... ending up in Venice, Italy, where we stayed over an additional 4 days.  Here's how it went... Barcelona Spain,  Florence Italy, Rome Italy - 2 days, Naples/Capri Italy, Athens Greece, Istanbul, Turkey - 2 days, Mykonos Greece, Split, Croatia, and Venice.  We did have a scheduled day in Nice, France, but were unable to anchor/tender due to a bad storm (wind, rain high waves), disappointed - but the day of rest was welcomed.  Every port day was up and out by 7am, all day tours (some 10+ hours), then back onboard, cleanup, dinner at 8:45pm, bed around midnight.  Sleep when we get home!   Incredible time, we are ready to go again.
